Emission measurements farms
Emission measurements to stables were always executed in the past by the former IMAG, institute for environmental/agriculture technology (now known as Wageningen UR Livestock Research, Animal Sciences Group ASG). Recently, several commercial parties such as EnviVice can perform measurements on stables, provided that a number of quality criteria are met. Envivice will respect the commitments enshrined in the measurement protocol, ‘Measurement of ammonia emission from housing systems in livestock production 2013’ or ‘VERA test protocol Version 2’ so the result by Tac-Rav committee (desk function by RVO) are accepted.
Pilot stole scheme measurements are performed whereby review of the results takes place at a predetermined emission of ammonia in index numbers g / animal place / year.
Efficiency measurements of chemical and biological air scrubbers are performed for verification result to licensing requirements.
